Legal & Commercial

Terms of Service

These terms define the basic rules for using PONS Method Institute, purchasing access, and using digital products, services and learning materials.

The seller or contracting entity is the legal entity identified at checkout and on the invoice. Final commercial publication must use the same legal identity consistently across checkout, invoices and this website.

1. Scope

These terms apply to use of the PONS Method Institute website and, where relevant, to courses, memberships, digital products, advisory services and other services offered through the Institute ecosystem. Additional product-specific terms may apply where clearly shown before purchase.

2. Accounts and access

  • Users must provide accurate information and keep account credentials confidential.
  • Access rights are personal unless a club, federation or organisational licence expressly allows multiple authorised users.
  • Users are responsible for activity performed through their account where caused by their failure to protect credentials.
  • Access may be suspended where reasonably necessary to protect security, investigate abuse, comply with law or enforce these terms.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Prices, billing period, taxes, renewal conditions and included access should be displayed before purchase. Payment processing may be performed by a third-party provider. Any cancellation, refund or withdrawal right is governed by the specific checkout terms and applicable consumer law.

4. Educational and professional nature

Courses, methodology materials, diagnostics and advisory content are professional and educational resources. They do not guarantee sporting results, employment, promotion, competitive success, revenue or any specific performance outcome. Users remain responsible for professional judgement and implementation in their own context.

5. Intellectual property

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the PONS Method name, methodology, course materials, software interfaces, frameworks, texts, videos, graphics and related intellectual property remain protected. A purchase grants the user the access and usage rights described for that product; it does not transfer ownership or permit unauthorised copying, resale, redistribution or publication.

6. User content

Users retain responsibility for content and files they upload. They must have the right to provide that content and must not upload unlawful, infringing or inappropriate material. Users should avoid uploading unnecessary confidential or special-category personal data.

7. Availability and changes

The Institute aims to provide reliable access but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, provider outages, security incidents, technical failures or force-majeure events may temporarily affect access. Features may evolve where reasonably necessary to improve, secure or maintain the service.

8. Backups and continuity

The Institute may maintain technical recovery mechanisms for its own systems, but users must retain independent copies of any source files, documents or data whose loss would be materially important to them. Platform recovery mechanisms are not a substitute for the user's own records. See the Backups & Data Responsibility page for the full operating principle.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided for professional and educational use without a guarantee of a specific sporting, commercial or operational result, and indirect or consequential losses are excluded where legally permitted.

10. Contact and disputes

Questions about a purchase or service should first be raised through the Institute contact channel so they can be addressed directly. Any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
